One of the few Obsidimen in New Marrek, Jern has been Vigilant Sentry since just after the Citadel reopened. He is several hundred years old, having spent much of the Scourge awake. His supporters point out his exemplary record of service to the nation. His detractors point out that eventually he will receive the call to return to his Liferock and wonder what will become of his intimate knowledge of New Marrek’s secrets.
